When is the tax sale?
A tax sale is held the 3rd Monday in April of each year beginning at 10:00 AM at the front of the Henry County Courthouse for property taxes not paid.

How do I know what properties, if any, will be sold?
An advertising list will be published in the Abbeville Herald ( P.O. Box 609 Abbeville, AL 36310 ) 3 consecutive weeks in March prior to the sale. This same list will also be published on the News page on our site.

How can real estate sold for non-payment of taxes be redeemed?
By any person having an interest in said property, within three years from the date of the tax sale.

Can personal property sold for non-payment of taxes be redeemed?
No - The sale is Final!
